About Dr. Israr Ahmed
Dr. Israr Ahmed is a well-known Islamic Personality, Philosopher , and Scholar all over the world. He was born on 26 April 1932 in Hisar. His father was a civil servant in England. He completed his early education at a local school and for higher education Israr Ahmed goes to England where he completed his MBBS from King Edward Medical University in 1950. He also obtain a master’s degree in Islamic history from the University of Karachi in 1965.He was also a founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami.His family migrated from Hisar to Sahiwal Pakistan after independence. Israr Ahmed joined Jamat-e-Islami in 1950 and left this party in 1957 due to its involvement in national politics. Israr Ahmed wrote more than 60 books and much more. Some of his books were also translated into different languages. The government of Pakistan was also awarded from Sitara e Imtiaz in 1981. The great Islamic scholar is no more with us.
